The Happy Turtle - A Short Story

The Happy Turtle

A Short Story by Tanvee Maheshwari

Once upon a time, there lived a turtle. He was very different from other turtles. He could run faster than other turtles.

He lived in a jungle. The king of the jungle was a lion.

The turtle lived very happily. However, the lion was very sad because he wanted to be a doctor, but could not become one.

So the lion decided to go away so that he could become a doctor.

Then the next morning, he packed up his suitcases and bags and went away.

After some days, the animals of that jungle came to know the news that the lion has gone.

So, all the animals started giggling. But, the turtle did not.

After some days, the lion was very sad because he was also not comfortable over there. At last, he returned back.

Then the animals and the lion became happy again.

Moral of the story is:

You have to be happy with whatever you are getting.
