The Ride of Life

The Ride of Life

A Poem By Tanvee Maheshwari

I went for a walk,
Deep in the woods,
Where I stood
On a heavy rock.

The wind blew,
The Leaves of the pine trees rustled,
I saw a raging river,
It was really a nice view.

The Sun was setting,
The sky was dark,
I felt something magical
Right in my heart!

I was in a forest,
Covered by trees,
On whom sat owls
With foxes that howled.

On a dusty path,
A stone's throw
Below a rocky ledge
Was a river very shallow.

The horizon seemed to stretch,
Far and wide,
Where the world ended
There began a New Ride!

AND THAT, MY FRIENDS, IS THE "RIDE OF LIFE" !!!

Self Help Is The Best Help

A Short Story By Tanvee Maheshwari

Once upon a time there lived a little cat named Meowmee. She lived in a big den alone.

She had good to eat, stay, live and drink.

What else would a little cat want?

Yes !

It must want someone to live life with her.

One day it was raining hard and Meowmee had to go to collect milk from the milk seller and collect fish from the fish seller and it was the last day to collect fish and milk from both the sellers a month.

How could she go in the hard rain??

But, Meowmee was intelligent, hard-working and determined.

And because she was intelligent, hard-working and determined, she went to both the sellers. She walked and walked until she reached both the sellers' homes but she couldn't find both of them.

Just a moment later a big yellow ray arrived just on Meowmee. On the ray it was written:

FROM GOD

CLUE

foot steps

And after Meowmee read it, it vanished !!

Then Meowmee looked around and saw four footsteps that meant two footsteps of the fish seller and the other two of the milk seller.

Meowmee quickly followed the footsteps and there were the sellers selling milk and fish !

She quickly took the milk and fish, gave the money and ran back to her den.

MORAL : Who help themselves, God helps those !

Hero Harry - A Short Story

Union Town in Giant City was once destroyed by an evil witch called Jenna. That time, Union Town in Giant City had a hero. His name was Harry. Everyone called him Hero Harry and this time Hero Harry had to save Union Town from evil Jenna.

One day, Harry went to his room and thought that Jenna loves fashion and got the idea !

He took a man-cage and went to a store room and saw a box full of fashion stuff. So, he ran to Jenna’s house and he started putting the fashion stuff starting from Jenna’s house till his house. He then put the man-cage at the end of the fashion stuff trail.

One day, Jenna followed the trail and started collecting all the fashion stuff. She was very greedy and did not want to leave anything behind. She kept on collecting the lipsticks, eyeliners, etc. until she reached the end of the trail. When she reached the end, Hero Harry pulled the trigger and Jenna was captured in the man-cage.

Once again, Hero Harry had saved Union Town from evil Jenna.

Moral of the Story  -  Don’t be greedy!

The Happy Turtle - A Short Story

The Happy Turtle

A Short Story by Tanvee Maheshwari

Once upon a time, there lived a turtle. He was very different from other turtles. He could run faster than other turtles.

He lived in a jungle. The king of the jungle was a lion.

The turtle lived very happily. However, the lion was very sad because he wanted to be a doctor, but could not become one.

So the lion decided to go away so that he could become a doctor.

Then the next morning, he packed up his suitcases and bags and went away.

After some days, the animals of that jungle came to know the news that the lion has gone.

So, all the animals started giggling. But, the turtle did not.

After some days, the lion was very sad because he was also not comfortable over there. At last, he returned back.

Then the animals and the lion became happy again.

Moral of the story is:

You have to be happy with whatever you are getting.

Make Your Rangoli

You all know how to make a rangoli....don't you?

Let's see how you can make your rangoli more interesting. I will show you a rangoli that I made this Diwali.

Draw Lakshmiji's feet and the swastik symbol using red powder. Then put colourful stones on each of the toes. You can also add the colourful stones on each corner of the swastik symbol.

To make the rangoli come alive, put silver or golden glitter over the entire rangoli.

This is what you will get !!

Now make your beautiful rangoli even more interesting and share more ideas to make a beautiful world.
